Our Standard Will is suitable if your situation is very simple. For example, if you are married or in a civil partnership, have no children and want to leave everything to your partner or spouse when you die. Or if you are single. Or if you do have children, they are from your current marriage or relationship.

Our Standard Will is designed to make sure that your assets will pass as easily as possible once the Will is read. Our Standard Will allows you to nominate your Spouse, Partner or Civil Partner as an Executor/Trustee, plus one other Executor/Trustee to act if you so wish.

Our Standard Will allows you to nominate your Spouse, Partner or Civil Partner to inherit and will then pass this to your children, if your Spouse, Partner or Civil Partner have predeceased you.

Don’t forget, once you have written your Will, you need to decide how you are going to look after it. If your executors can’t find your Will, you might as well have not written one.

We offer a safe, secure storage facility for all our Wills. To find out more, take a look at our Storage section, or contact us to find out more.

However, it is important to remember that you might not necessarily know if your situation is going to be complicated until you discuss your estate with a professional. There are, of course, scenarios when our Standard Will is not going to be able to cope with the disposal of your estate. In this instance, you may need to look at our Bespoke Will service.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for further clarification. Our experts are there to understand your needs and give information and advice and we will happily explain why this cannot be done and/or how it could be done if the Standard Will is what you want.
